~RunAndTalk - Running and mental health in Berkshire

Berkshire Trail Runners - #RunAndTalk 1 in 4 people in the UK suffer from mental health issues. 1 in 6 people in England experience anxiety or depression in any given week

Berkshire Trail Runners has decided to join England Athletics RunAndTalk program which is dedicated to improving mental health through running in England. RunAndTalk’s aim is to get people to share their experience, talk about mental health and remove any stigma. The program provides support and guidance to people experiencing mental health problems to become physically active through running. Berkshire Trail Runners are there to help you take your first steps. We are a friendly group who understand the therapeutic benefits of running/walking on trails with friends! All abilities are catered for; you can be a total beginner, already a runner, or, a runner that wants to run again! Dates (2019): July 10, 17, 24 & 31 / August 7, 14, 21, 28

Location: The Lookout, Swinley Forest, RG45 7EX – 7:00pm in the picnic area
